'The Vampire Diaries' Season 3 Finale Preview Clip: Elena Makes Her Choice

Well TVD fans, the time has come: there's only one episode left in season three of "The Vampire Diaries," and it's airing this coming Thursday. Past that, you're going to have to get your fix of vampire love triangles elsewhere. I wonder where?

That means that this extended preview clip released by The CW is the last one of the season, but it's also an intriguing one. In the clip, Elena wakes up from a dream (about sophomore year, apparently, which will likely lend itself to flashbacks) to find Matt staring at her (creepy). She apologizes to him for stringing him along back then, and likens it to what she's doing with Damon and Stefan now.

"I have to let one of them go," she says. Matt asks "which one?" only seconds before Stefan walks through the door. Does this mean that Elena chose Stefan, or is he here so that she can break the bad news to him?

There's also a bit of talk about Tyler and Caroline, so they might be in trouble, especially considering the events of the last episode. Are they okay? What's Dark Alaric up to? Will Elena actually make her choice?
